While Amedspor has taken the top spot in the Turkish Super Lig with an impressive performance, a new crisis has emerged ahead of their crucial match in Ankara. The team, scheduled to play away against Gençlerbirliği on Saturday, October 10, 2026, in the seventh round of the Super Lig, is facing intense frustration from its fanbase. The issue stems from the unavailability of match tickets for away fans, even as ticket sales for the home team have already commenced.

According to a statement from Gençlerbirliği, ticket prices vary by stadium section, starting at 750 Lira ($15) and reaching up to 5000 Lira (approximately $100). Although the away ticket price for Amedspor fans has been set at 975 Lira (around $20), these tickets have yet to go on sale. The release time for the away tickets remains unclear, sparking significant dissatisfaction among Amedspor supporters.

On the other hand, an injury crisis has disrupted Gençlerbirliği, the capital city's club. Adama Traoré, who sustained an injury against Başakşehir after featuring in six matches this season, is expected to be sidelined for about three weeks. Additionally, midfielder Oğulcan Ülgün, who also played six matches this season, will miss the Amedspor game due to an injury sustained during training. Furthermore, Tidiany Niasse and Kévin Rodrigues remain out with ongoing injuries and will be unavailable for the upcoming fixture.

Amedspor currently leads the Turkish Super Lig with 13 points from six matches, sitting ahead of Galatasaray (also on 13 points) on goal difference. Beşiktaş and Kocaelispor occupy the third and fourth positions with 12 points each. Gençlerbirliği, representing Ankara, has collected seven points from six matches and currently sits in 13th place.
